Developed at the University of Georgia in partnership with the NOAA Marine Debris program in 2011, Debris Tracker is an open data, community science platform to record data on plastic pollution. We're driven by uniting technology and participatory science to fight plastic pollution. Every day, dedicated educational, non-profit, and scientific organizations and passionate citizen scientists from all around the world record data on inland and marine debris with our free, easy-to-use app, contributing to our open data platform and scientific research.
